I decided to change my look here on Xanga. I decided to do so because of my new profile pic. I like the blue hue to it, and felt the site should reflect it. And it still has the cold winter feel to it that I wanted. And after all, I had time on my hands, so why not a new look, right?! Ok, time to find something else to do to fill my day. Enjoy the weekend and all that it brings your way.

So here it Thursday, and I am hanging tough at 232.6 for my weight. I was back up to almost 237 after T-day. So I am glad to be losing again. But I think 220 by the end of the year is not going to happen.
I have been doing good as of late. My spirit has been better and I have been feeling good mostly. But this afternoon I kinda started to get a little down. I fight the "blues" the best I can. This last year has taken a toll on me. I feel 39, I never felt my age before. But I sure do now. I am very tired of sleeping alone as well. Pogo is great company, but she doesn't replace having a Wife. I miss that relationship.
So every now and then it brings me down. And with Xmas so close, well it just adds to the feeling I think. I don't feel as lost as I did a few months back, now I feel more lonely though. It's been rough, I can't lie.
The GF has been great, but she lives half a world away. And what I need is a hug and someone to hug back. But I will get up and do it all again tomorrow, the Lord will have to take care of the rest.
Speaking of Pogo, she felt it was time for a new pic of her. So she posed nicely for one, such a good girl she is!
I have the tree up. I couldn't do the old tree me and Lisa had, just couldn't bring myself to do it. But my Aunt had a 1950's style tinsel tree, she is moving and she gave it to us. I decided to put that up. It's real simple, but I love it. No lights, it has a pinwheel light that shines up at the tree. The wheel changes color and the tree reflects the color. Simple for sure, but seeing how I am not doing much for Xmas this year, I at least had to have a tree up!
